Refund Policy

Important Notice
Refunds are only provided if cancellation notice is given via email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be clear and straightforward.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
To be eligible for a refund:
- You must send a cancellation notice via email to info@blacktiecars.com
- The cancellation notice must be received at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time
- Your cancellation email must include your booking reference number and the name on the reservation
Example Timeline & Calculation:
If your pickup is scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 PM, your cancellation email must be received by Thursday at 2:00 PM or earlier to qualify for a refund.
Refund Calculation Example:
- Original booking amount: $200.00
- Credit card processing fee (4%): $8.00
- Final refund amount: $192.00
Refund Processing
For eligible cancellations:
- Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receiving your cancellation email
- A 4% credit card processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for booking
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
Note: While we process refunds within 48 hours, it may take 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time
- No-shows (client does not appear at the pickup location)
- Cancellations made by phone or any method other than email
- Partial cancellations or changes to the original booking
